the TALK about Mental Illness

  To be honest, who doesn’t feel tired of all the bad perception or view of mental illness? We all wish we could tell them or at least if they’re willing to be educated, we wanted to sit with them and let them know about it. The frustration is REAL. The struggle is REAL. But here are some things you could do whenever you face negative talk about mental illness: Quick note: I quote these informations from a webinar with @safehaven.id 1. Note that you CAN’T CONVINCE EVERYONE Humans are built different from each other; our minds obviously won’t have the same thought about certain topic. Accepting the situation that we can not always convince everyone about the piece of information we share will help us to not become stressed about it. REMEMBER, ACCEPTANCE IS THE KEY. 2. Share what you have (whenever you can) Now… what did you do with piece of important information in your hand? SHARE IT! If its helpful for the mental health community, why not?  Pictures by  www.resettraining.net I was dumbfounded, devastated, and frustrated. The blue in front of me didn’t offer me any calm at all. Only fear and hopelessness. All the data that I’ve collected, all memories, music, and even videos that I cherish and listen to from time to time. Everything comes to me at once as my eyes are glued to the monitor in front of me. Clicking here and there, I try to restart it over and over again but you know the obvious result: nothing. I give up Turn it off and putting it back to where it belongs. When I finally bring it to where it can be fixed. I spend at least three days of the torment of when will things become better. Is this karma? Am I really that hopeless? All my data will be saved right? Trying my best to sprinkle a bit of hope in the middle of my darkened heart.
